Are 'National-Parks' now considered "Camping World Accessories"? :B
If so, I'll take the lot and I can guarantee you I have never said those words in a CW store before.
Back off topic, I mean back on topic. I have seen the NPS call national monuments, national forests and other NPS run parks (that weren't the National Parks we all know and love like Yosemite) national parks as well. In some Junior Ranger literature I recently read online, John Muir Woods, Point Reyes, and I believe Alcatraz were all called National Parks. I was rather confused by that at first but figured they called any park under the NPS a National Park. ??
You may still be confused.
All national forests and some national monuments are NOT run by the NPS. The National Forests are in The Department of Agriculture and run by the U.S. Forest Service. Completely different agency, different govt. Department, and different mission from the National Park Service and Department of Interior. While NPS manages most National Monuments, others are managed by USFS, F&WS, BLM, Dept Of Defense, and even NOAA.
