- donn0128Explorer IIIn or near large cities, or in rural areas, or both?
In or near large cities, Walmart has a couple of pay per month plans. But they are usually worthless in rural because they use Tmobile towers. For the best nation wide coverage you will want Veeizon based service. And that aint cheap! - OzlanderExplorerIf you own the phone, try Kitty Wireless.
A pre-paid plan on that uses the Verizon network - sdianel_-acct_cExplorerVerizon. Not cheap but worth it. Have used it all over the US with no problem.
- The_TexanExplorerRemember, if you use Verizon itself, you get the benefit of ALL the towers Verizon uses, including their partner agreements. If you go with some off brand that uses Verizon, you are restricted to Verizon owned or operated towers, NO partner or roaming towers. If someone doubts this, call Verizon and ask them what towers your off brand is allowed to use.
We have a no contract 4G data plan with Verizon and the cost is $100/mo for 30gb, plus the normal data the phone plan offers, in our case another 2gb. - RoyBExplorer III would think the VERIZON JETPACK is about as good as it gets...
We use the VERIZON 3GB older MIFI secure WIFI plan and it does all we need to do on the internet which is to check-in with the kids, pay a few bills online, surf the internet some... We use the NATL BROADCAST "CLEAR TV" using our OTA BATWING antenna to get all the HDTV we want to see from the local towns including the live local WX RADAR ...
Roy Ken - gerrym51Explorer IIstraight talk has a Verizon network hotspot-ZTE z288l.
it uses the verizon 4g network-the data plans for it are non contracted
you could look at them. I have one and it works fine so far.
tracfone(straight talk and tracfone are same company but offer different types of data plans) has android phones that use verizon(you have to research which ones)
i believe you can buy a sim card for an unlocked phone but i've never done that - PopsieExplorerIf you use a laptop or an iPad, and are willing to drive around away from the RV park, consider http://www.wififreespot.com.
If you are anywhere near civilization, you should be able to find all the access you need. - 2oldmanExplorer IIVerizon or ATT. There's just no cheapie way to play this game. Well, nothing legal anyway.
Of course we're all assuming you travel, and if at a home there's no other service. - NaioExplorer IIThanks, folks!
I've been all over the Verizon website, and I can't find anything over 10gb. Kitty only seems to go up to 5.
Where are the larger plans hiding? - 1492Moderator

Just note that Kitty Wireless appears to be just a dealer for Page Plus Cellular.
