After many, many years of fighting with Microsoft's operating systems, I reluctantly switched to a Mac five years ago. Best computer move I ever made. No crashes, no hassles, no lost work, no patches, no viruses. The bad news, of course, is that the Mac is overpriced and there are some really good apps that just won't work on a Mac.
