Windows XP Support to End April 8, 2014
Ok, all you Windows XP owners, including me, Microsoft will no longer be supporting twelve year old XP as of April 8, 2014. What this means is that XP will no longer get any updates. They will continue for a time to support security software. They suggest that you upgrade to a new computer with Windows 8.1, or upgrade your system to Windows 8.1 if your computer is capable of handling it. You may want to do all available XP upgrades prior to April 8. After they stop updating security software you are advised to not access the internet with your XP machines. That means you will not want to browse or email via XP. You can continue to use XP for your applications that don't require internet access.
