Winegard carryout auto 180 degrees out

Is there away to calibrate the winegard carryout auto. Mine is checking for sats 180 degrees from where is should. I tried turning the base around but it stills want to try and find the sats in the east never checks the south/west. Is there anyway to reset it or something?

It needs a good strong power supply. Low power causes many problems.

Got it fixed.

Called Winegard support and the last we checked was the power converter from 120v to 12v. Plugged it into a 12v outlet in the rv basement and WALA locked on the sats in about 3 minute. Outstanding support.

You need to set a switch to tell it whose satellite system you are using. Your instructions should tell you how to set it based upon whether you are using Dish, Direct or Other.

How do you know which way it's looking? Did you take the dome off? Are the dip-switches set correctly?
