Winegard Carryout Cabeling..

Question

When I use my Winegard Carrout, I have to connect two 50 ft RG-6 cables and then the 50 ft power cord... When finished using the antenna, I then have to coil up and wipe down each cable for stowage.  I am aware that there are RG-6 cables that have two lines moulded into one cable which would simplify the stowage process BUT I am wondering if abybody has seen or knows of a all in one cable that contains 2-RG6 lines as well as the power cable moulded into one cable.  I have cable tied my cables together into one cable but coiling them up is tough on the hands with the cables ties every several feet.  Maaybe this is just a wish and hope idea but had to ask...

You can get dual RG6 coax, but you would probably have to buy at least 500'. It also has a ground wire which you can just cut off. The simplest way to get a 50' dual RG6 cable would be to contact a local satellite TV installer and have them make one for you. Any Dishnetwork or Directv installer could make you one in 5 minutes.

I just took the 50' RG6 cable that came with ours and bought a second one at Home Depot and used cable ties to put the two together. I just roll them both up and store then when we travel. Since I only use the power cable to set it up then store it I am not worried about it being connected to the RG6 cables. I doubt you are going to find a dual RG6 setup with the power cord combined with it. Just a quick search came up with this for a dual 50' RG6 cable.

I use a extention cord reel to store 100' of coax (no power cord). I would wire tie the two together and get one of these..

I use a bi-directional splitter/combiner and use one cable.  I have one on the back of my receiver as well.

use a good grade of black electrical tape.Easy on hands and flexible. why buy more cable you will still have to attach you power cord.
