Well I finally bought a tow vehicle. A 2017 F 150 with the second generation eco boost. Super Cab, 8' box. Max Tow (11,700), HD Payload (2440) and I am extremely pleased. Tows and stops no problem, When I weigh fully loaded I'm 500 lbs under my 4800 lb rear axle rating. And I'm enjoying the excellent gas mileage when I'm not towing. Also, just to mess the weight police up, I occasionally tow my quad behind, but not very often.
