Not that we want Cable tv all the time, but with grandkids sometimes it is a blessing. We have not tried the hookup yet to see if it works, of course not all campgrounds have this option. In our dr...

Go to www.zap2it.com.. Register, Enter the ZIP CODE and it will give you a list of Television Providers, the last one is Broadcast antenna.
Click on the one that provides cable TV to the park and it will give you the program guide, 4 hours. GO to preferences and you can make it six hours
Once you have the guide on the screen.. Bookmark that page. From now on it will show you the guide when you log in.
Change parks, There is a "Push pin" icon at the top of the listings (next to the zip code) this is the inverted (point down) Tear drop with hole in it icon.
Click here, enter new zip code, and choose new cable provider, or enter same zip code for a different cable provider.
Here is the direct to grid link , however this will only give you "National listings" first time you log in www.zap2it.com/tvlistings
Used to use it all the time, Use a different method now but I pay for that.
Now, once you get to the park, Use antenna web or the free smart phone app "Antenna Helper Free" to find broadcast towers .
I open the app, it snaggs my GPS cordornates, then downloads local TV towers from the FCC, then offers me a list (useful for some things) or a map.. also a "Compass View" (Useless far as I'm concerned but some may like it)
I go to map and it shows me in the center with lines radiating out to towers. I pick the most dense angle and aim..
Using LIST I can convert TV-Screen channel to Broadcst Channel (They are not always the same any more) and then I can use my Sensar Pro to peak that channel,
Right now I have both OTA and cable ability.. Kind of fun, had a lovely time setting up the guide service I use (Got it whipped though) so the DVR's in my network can pick and choose their inputs, Either the digital converters for OTA (A/V 1 Input) or the Cable (RF) and record... Sadly, I need MORE HARD DRIVE :)
