It's a scary thing to be surrounded by barking predators who want to eat you. That level of stress has health consequences. That means expensive vet bills for the owner.
Dog owners can get a better idea if they imagine their trailer surrounded by wild wolves, all day and all night, for as long as they are at the park. Would you camp there? Would it be a little less stressful if the wolves weren't howling all the time when you were trying to sleep?
