And don't forget to subtract the value of the services you received. - IDoMyOwnStuntsExplorerDonate the same amount that you would donate at a charity car wash.

- RedRocket204ExplorerSame info others posted... I've contacted a number of private campgrounds for dumping, most were $5 and some $10.
- mockturtleExplorer II$5 to just dump. If they have fresh water and I fill my tank, I'll leave $10.

This thread is reminding me of the old 'definition of a RVer':
Someone driving a $200,000 motor home, pulling a $40,000 car and looking for a free place to park. ;)
....and your 'old' definition is getting 'old'. Perhaps the person was able to buy that RV because he was thrifty and never went into debt. :)
Yup. Worked hard and scrimped and saved and I paid cash for my coach and toad.....how many passing me by would ever know that?$10 seem to be the going rate for dumping without staying in a RV park. The Lions Club does good work.

Not so much for the dump but for the good work around the community that these volunteers provide.
Otherwise I agree $5 or $10 is fine. - eubankExplorerFor a simple dump, our village charges $10 at the sanitation facility. So do the local RV parks. (I'm not sure that the RV resort offers dumps to non-guests.)

To just dump $5. If cleaning out tanks I'd say $15+ depending on how much of thier water etc I used.
Second, on the dump, but ... Well.. Since I full time I never bother "Cleaning out the tanks" cause they are going to need re-cleing very soon.. Can't see doing it.. I do rinse though
ANd for the Lions club, and a host of other charities.. I might double and say 10 bucks.
