Emergency Stops Important

On our 2nd long(er) trip we left central PA for Virginia Beach. This time I had a conference to go to and DW got to enjoy some time at the beach. On our way home yesterday we had a front tire blowout and used our emergency triangles and orange cones (very important to have!!). Our blowout was on I-95 between Richmond and DC. AAA was great and we had help within 30 min, and were on our way within 1-hour. We had a true spare with us, and the serviceman was able to take care of things from there!! Thanks to all for the information on what to have with you!!! Also, I was "proud" that I was able to perform an emergency stop, and get my rig safely off the roadway, and still in good position for the tire change. Don't know what caused the blowout, but it is possible it was something that kicked up from the road. All in all, we were able to get to our campground for that night, and decompress!! We were able to keep a good spirit because of all the info on this listserve!! Thanks!

Yes, you are absolutely right, and now making sure I have a good spare on board I know is key!!
