Look at the trees in the background, they look vertical. The ones in the foreground look tilted.

You didn't catch the way the trees were tilted. If they were only tilted because of the camera angle, then they are tilted the wrong way. If camera angle was the problem then the site is actually more level than it would appear. At least from side to side.
