Mold and mildew
Anyone know how to control mold and mildew in my 5er while it's stored at home between vacations? We live in west central Florida.

What should I expect / do in storing a c in an unheated storage (enclosed) garage during a New York winter? Leave ceiling vents open or button the rig up tight? We will be checking it weekly and running gen and engine regularly. I'm lucky, the unit is 38' deep and my MH is 28 so I can move back and forward to keep the tires rotating.

I run a dehumidifier 24/7/52. It works. :)

Dehumidifiers exhaust hot air inside. It will keep the RV dry, but very hot. You will also have to empty a tank or drain into a sink and then empty a holding tank now and then. They are good for cool, damp climates.
We have 30amp hookup beside the house. We run the AC. It is set at 90. That way we can use the RV as a extra room or retreat or guest house. The cost to run either dehumidifier or AC seems to be close. No real advantage to putting up with the heat and draining.
