Non twist lock 30 amp inlet

Standard dog-bone is fine. Or get a second female connector and put it on a standard extension cord cut to the length you need. Extension should have #12 wire to connect at home. Even better is just put in a 30 amp RV outlet.

Standard 30-15 dogbone adapter will work,,

The inlet you cite takes a standard Marinco plug if I'm not mistaken.

Be sure to follow the code where-as any cable that has VOLTAGE POTENTIAL on it must be a FEMALE CONNECTION so that when you plug the cable into a HOT VOLTAGE SOURCE with a MALE CONNECTION then the other end of the cable won't be able to touch any thing if energized.

The TWIST LOCK FEMALE SIDE INLET keeps you from accidentally pulling the connector out of the socket when energized. All trailers I have ever seen use them on the trailer side of the shore power cable.

If your RV30A to 15A adapters are the small round plug-in type you need to get rid of those and only use DOG-BONE type Adapters that are around 18-inches long. The small puck type will get hot on you over time and melt down your cable connectors making you have to replace them...

The inlet that I have is the 'Park Power 301ELRV 30 Amp 125V Standard RV Inlet' that is a twist lock and I have finally found (after 3 hardware and 1 RV stores) the female mate for it. I've got the 30 amp extension cord and will put that female end on it.

Then I need to look through my stuff and see what is the simplest way to adapt to 15 amp house current when I'm parked at home.

Camping World has a cord about a foot long with the proper connectors.. Bit pricy but then Marinco Connectors are a bit pricy, they are also very good .

X-2 , You should be able to find those end almost anywhere, they're pretty common and standard on many RV's, as rvten said, you may want to try Lowes, Home Depot, as well as many RV dealers sell them.

Are your adapters TT-30 (Standard 30 amp RV plugs?) and your inlet a Marinco twist lock (Also standard for RV inlet use)

Need the NEMA code from the inlet to verify correct and to match the connector needed.

Never seen a NEMA TT-30 inlet. You probably need to make an adapter or change the female end of your cord to the proper twist lock.

You need to search by the NEMA number. There are several styles of 30AMP connectors depending on voltage and application. You most likely got a NEMA L14-30 30 Amp, 125/250V Twist Lock socket.

What you need is a NEMA TT-30R for the socket or a NEMA TT-30 for the plug. Do NOT use a NEMA 10-30, it is an old electrical specification that may cause damage to your RV or its appliances by not providing a proper ground. The NEMA 10-30 looks really similar, but one of the blades is "L" shaped.
