Who uses them and how do you clean them - how often? I bought an 8x20 to go under the awning. A friend had one and i liked it but now husband not so much. He is concerned how to store and clean.

I am not sure what it is called, but I have a family member who works in a paper mill. They have this material that is like a woven plastic. They have to change it out frequently. This stuff is great! It is the same size as my awning. It is porous so water goes right thru it. You can easily sweep it or like I do, blow it with a small leaf blower. If we happen to take up in the rain, I just roll it up with the dirt and all. It rolls into a 6 inch roll and I just throw it on the back bumper.
