Generally it is a good idea if the Driver's license and the Vehicle registered to the name on the license are registered to the same address.. I do say "GENERALLY"
Some years ago the (I THINK) Montana LLC was a popular way to avoid taxes. A few states started deciding how much their residents owed them Generally they were not in the least conservative in their estimates. Truly liberal in fact. A few others were looking into it including MICHIGAN but I do not know what came of that.
So this is information.. The only advice I can give is you need professional help (Tax attorney) .
