Sewer hose weight HoseBuddy

This looks like a great product. www.hosebuddy.com
Does anyone know if they are still in business? The website is still up but I've sent 3 emails and left 2 voice messages with no response.
  • I would have preferred the Hose Buddy, but ended up with Clicky instead.

I've used it at screw-in sites when I can't twist the elbow towards my rig. And I use it when using the clean-out in my driveway to dump at home.
  • Cheap & easy: when cutting firewood I cut a fork out, each branch ~4" diameter, slapped on a coat of old paint I had in the barn (in case someone steals it I'll know who it was) & screwed on a cheap 97c Walmart handle. Works like a charm. If I wake up some day and find it gone I'm only out the cost of the handle. I've got more tree branch forks in the wood pile than I could ever use in a lifetime of camping even if I use a new one each trip.

  • Had one for many years...don't work as good as you would think. Doesn't seem to fit the newer hose fittings very well. I like the sock and sand idea!

Works great.. I had two of 'em but "lost" one (think I loaned it out and they kept it) I use it when I'm on friction fit sites.. Very happy with it.

Advantage is that it fits nice, looks nice and weighs about 8-9pounds full of water. (not sure if you fill it with sand)

But less than 1 pound going down the road.
  • If he incorporated a tool box into it....maybe, but to much to carry for single purpose ....
