WARNING! Ford dealer and Ford Customer Care are REFUSING to replace transmission in 2010 Ford Escape Limited with 37,953 miles, under warranty. Ford Warranty powertrain including transmission: 5 yr/50,000 miles! Transmission melted! Followed all dingy towing instructions in Owners Manual; did not even drive over 55 mph; did not drive over 250 miles in one day; started and ran in D and in R for 15 minutes at start and end of dingy driving day; towed in N with key at accessory. HELP Needed. Transmission needs replacing to be able to drive it to a car lot to Sell! Can not trust Ford Escape; can not trust Ford Corp.
