- PSWExplorerWe just got our new Trail Hawk this weekend and plan on rigging it to tow behind a Phoenix Cruiser 2350. Thanks to those that have contributed to this thread for the guidance. I have never towed in the past, so am in the learning process
Perhaps we can keep this thread alive as we discover anything else about the Cherokee. Incidentally, ours does not have the adaptive cruise.

2013 Phoenix Cruiser 2350 - jeremywatcoExplorerThanks all. I ended up installing the BlueOx. Took me 5hrs but that also with me only having 1 1/2 legs right now (recovering from broken femur). Instructions were pretty simple, a few things were omitted and I had to figure out but other than that was pretty easy.
Have my readybrake setup coming tomorrow... - dkreuzenExplorerI installed a RoadMaster on mine and it was not very difficult. I suspect all baseplates are about the same to install.
- dubdub07ExplorerOops.
- dubdub07ExplorerI have a Blue Ox and it is easy, but you need to go slow. The front bumper must come off but with it off the job is super easy. With all, the bumper must come off and I am sure are pretty close to using the same holes on the Jeep. Blue Ox is online. I have the adaptive cruise and Blue Ox isn't in the way.
Bill - HeisenbergExplorerIf Demco has the baseplate there will be instructions available.
- j-dExplorer III can't answer from experience, so I waited to see if somebody else could. With no replies yet, let me say
1. You can go to at least the BlueOx and RoadMaster websites and download the install instructions, with pictures, for the exact baseplate you need. It will also include notes as to trimming the fascia and other little quirks.
2. Also, at least for RoadMaster, the "lookup" where you match a baseplate to your vehicle model, has a Difficulty Index, and also some installation notes.
I don't know how much is available on the web about the Demco. I'm sure there IS an instruction sheet, but you might have to call them and have it emailed or faxed to you.
