I would not recommend the Jeep Cherokee. I have a 2014. It has developed a tendency to literally "rock" my 15,000 Bounder back and forth.
This happens without warning and under many different circumstances (straight interstate highways, city street, turning on to an on-ramp, etc.)
Research shows it happens with Gas, Diesel pushers, different tow bars, different braking systems.
Chrysler has not sort-out this vehicle. It is made on a front wheel drive platform. It has been to multiple dealer service centers. They are stumped.
I wasted $35,000.
