I am not claiming to have insider knowledge, I am not the fire marshall investigating cause, my opinion is just an honest guess....Sounds like a case of allowing gas to build up, providing a spark--BOOM.

I don't understand what your talks about, all the fridges I have ever had is turned on from inside with the igniter.

Appears to be an older trailer set up as a permanent residence and, from the looks of the grass and trees, has not been moved in a very long time. Lighting the fridge from inside? No way of knowing what they have done.

Holy Moly!!! Fire can be our friend, and in this case a foe!! Hope the couple recovers well, and that they have good insurance on the 5er.
