...posted as a "heads-up." Saw this at the campground last week. The driver apparently thought the inside corner was just grass but hidden underneath was a stump. The left side of the 5'er went up the stump, there was some teetering and then the driver backed off, backed up and proceeded down to the next turn. Our campsite was across the way and I felt like I heard the inevitable crash when I saw the trailer teeter. The toy hauler took the corner much sharper than the truck.Moderator edit to re-size picture to forum limit of 640px maximum width.

It is at most a couple feet, I think a long way from a rollover unless hit at 70 mph.

Lucky it didn't rip anything off the bottom of trailer. Looks like the height of the stump would be pretty close.

Maybe not an "almost" roll over but good information and reminder. Thanks for posting.

I'll wager there could be a bent axle or damaged tire, but far from a rollover. But scary nonetheless...

Doesn't appear to me as tough it was anywhere even CLOSE to a roll over. Now if the list was 30 degrees instead of maybe 10 it might be dangerous. It IS a good reason for some of the trailer tire blow outs though :)

So I was driving through this campground, the trailer went off in the weeds and started to get stuck. I backed up and went around, not the tires are going flat and the trailer tracks funny behind the truck. Any ideas? :B

It is a good example of the trauma we put trailer tires through. I've run over 10 times more stuff like curbs and stumps with my trailer than I ever have with my tow vehicle. It's a wonder I don't have a lot of tire troubles, but my Maxxis 8008s lasted eight years before the first failure other than the expected nail-in-tire flats.
