An RV Dump near Redstone, CO

Planning to spend a week at Redstone USFS Campground at Redstone, CO next summer. No dump station there. Both RV parks at Carbondale are for guests only. I think you have to go to Glenwood Springs. Anyone know of the dump station there? I see an Ami's Acres RV Park for a fee and a Bradley Petroleum Sinclair gas station. Has anyone used the Sinclair station? Is it hard to get into? We have 34' fifth wheel. Any other suggestions of places around there?

Thanks
  • THX, Grit dog, good advice. See several parks like around Silt and there's a Rest Stop that claims to have one. I think that's that "interesting" rest stop that is really off the Interstate a bit. Sorta odd place.
  • Rifle gap state park, or the smattering of RV parks on I 70 near there.
Depends where youre going after redstone. Shouldn't be a problem for a week. Worst case you have to purge a little gray water, but even still. Put some of the gray water into the black tank if necessary. Bucket all the dishwater and toss it down the toilet.
You could use 1-1/2 fresh water tanks before you run out of gray/black capacity.
  • Thanks. I had seen that list. Actually I am finding the Sanidumps website (a bit trickier to use) has more information than that one. I see you are an Arctic Fox. We are too. A 2015 27-5L. They are the best. Ours is our home. Enjoy your travels.
