I am not sure I understand the closing of state park CG's. To me camping is an excellent way to self quarantine. The trick is practicing responsible social distancing. Hotels I can see, but campgrounds? I am closer to people at home in my neighborhood.
I absolutely agree. It just seems a knee-jerk reaction, like they have to do something, no matter what, as long as it looks like their doing something.
