CV19 is very close to the flu virus. It IS a virus. All viruses in the past have died out in the summer. Ever hear of the flu season? This is why you hear this statement.
So let me get this straight. You think that this is the ONLY virus that won't die out in the summer? The only one? Is that what you are saying?
Summer flu outbreak of 1918 may have provided partial protection against lethal fall pandemic
A summer outbreak of a novel flu strain; I thought someone said they all die out in the summer
Check Australia also. Covid-19 arrived on Jan. 20th in Victoria, Australia and grew exponentially while the high temperatures were up to 95F.
Australia has 65 deaths from CV19. 65!!!

The Spanish flu did spread in the summer; not as bad as the next winter after experts believe it had undergone โdriftโ and came back more deadly (mentioned in this article and discussed in other article about this pandemic).BCSnob wrote:Turtle n Peeps wrote:

Oh look a summer outbreak of a novel flu strain; I thought someone said they all die out in the summer
Did you read the article? Dying out doesnโt have to me completely gone but rather becomes insignificant. The 1918 summer โwaveโ was a fraction as lethal and widespread compared to the fall one. In other words if history teaches us anything maybe itโs a good time to let some of this run itโs course. The spread is significantly slower not because โitโs warm outโ but because people get out of their confined spaces more and likely the output of their sneezes dry faster on surfaces.
The Copenhagen summer wave may have been caused by a precursor pandemic virus that transmitted efficiently - but lacked extreme virulence - according to the authors

Here is some more bad news for you doom and gloomers. This chart is from the CDC. It shows the flu season for almost 40 years of data collection. The flu season is going to end in very short order according to the CDC's own data collected over a long period of time.
CV19 along with the other flu viruses will crash very soon.
