Anybody waiting for a Tesla model 3. Prod starts July 28.
If you are waiting for your new Toad and it's a model 3 Tesla then your wait is getting shorter. Elon musk tweeted last night that the first 30 cars will be presented at the end of July. Production apparently will increase slowly to the 200,000 point in first half next year.
We have a friend who already has his custom trailer already prepared so he can pull it behind his eagle. Trailer looks awesome even without the car on it. He went flat deck as opposed to enclosed. I'm not sure I would have gone that way. Cheaper though.
Lots of folks on the tesla forums biting at the bit. The first cars will be sold primarily to employees who have their name on the top of the list.
We'll stick with our Leaf and smart ED for the time being. Fun to watch though. Looking forward to a model 3 test drive. We have driven a number of model S's which are amazing but the model 3 is a third of the cost so we'll see what they have to give up.
