Why do you think you are going to get it? there are over 334 million people in the US. What makes you so sure that you will be part of the .0001 percent that will get it????
.0001% of 339 million (current US population) = 339 people.
The current COVID-19 cases for the US is 808.
So it's more like .00024%, but, you're right, it's a small number.

And over 80% of the ones that do get it recover with out any medical treatment. Man don't panic. Stop watching CNN. live your life. You are in no more danger than you were in December
It's uncertain how high the COVID-19 cases will get. If COVID-19 burns out when the weather gets warmer (like other flus), then the infected may stay fairly low.
However, it COVID-19 doesn't stop growing in Spring, then all bets are off. If Harvard epidemiologist Marc Lipsitch is right, then 40 to 70% of the world adult population could get coronavirus. If you're keeping score, for the US that would be between 131 to 229 million cases. Hope you're right.
Finally, about that 80%. In one sense, it's great that most COVID-19 cases are mild. But in the early stages of infection, many people don't even know they're infected . . . and they unknowingly walk around spreading it. Very bad mojo.
