I've got several trips planned, and some are at music festivals, so I'm trying to decide what to do. I see SBySW has cancelled, and afraid there will be more to do the same.We just got our first case in Memphis today.

We cancelled a May cruise to Alaska.

I plan on doing all my planned camping trips this year to the state parks in WA state... But, I don't fly anyway, and I did not have any cruise ship plans and I don't care to be in Seattle, so won't be going there anyway...Can't afford any of the local sports venues, so no worries there either. I'll just watch on TV in my own "suite"..I'll just practice the same hygiene practices that have gotten me thru my 56 years of life so far... (aka: common sense)Panic if you must.. Horde groceries if you must.. Prepare for the Plague if you must.. I could slip in the shower and break my neck and die too... Or go to the store or work in my truck and die in a car crash.. Just watched Dr Fauci and he says:1) mortality rate still not known exactly but probably in the 0.5 or even lower range not over 1%. Possibly 0.1%.2) The folks that mostly need to be concerned are those over 70 with other serious health problems. They should minimize social contact. Most certainly STAY off CRUISE SHIPS and probably avoids crowds in a closed space, aka air craft flights.3) Testing is ramping up quickly will be over 4,000,000 tests kits distributed by the end of next weekHe didn't say but just use common sense, don't shake hands, wash your hands frequently after social contact.So no we aren't changing plans, going to an Andre Rios concert next week. And planning on camping at the end of the month. Subject to change of course based on new info.

I will be leaving in 5 weeks for a 7,000 mile, 3 month long trip to Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Montana and South Dakota. Unless something drastic happens in those areas I will still be going.

Keeping all our trip reservations and will probably add more. Mostly dry camping out in the sticks. Will likely avoid restaurants or get to-go orders only.

RVing shows its great versatility avoiding planes, motels, and restaurants as needed.

We know the death rate, and the media I watch has doctors and health professionals. I don't know what media you listen to or watch.

I try to listen to Doctors and Health Care Providers......perhaps “not” the same ones you listen to. Mine are calling it a pandemic but, and suggest exercising logic, following known health practices and “not” to panic. Panic and worldwide hysteria could, in a worst case scenario, lead to very poor decisions. Enough poor decisions can lead to more deaths than Covid-19! JMO.

We will not be out in public, exposing ourselves to increased risk or potentially helping spread the virus! This is the beauty of free will....we make our own decisions and reap the consequences....good or bad! memtb

High mortality virus tend to mutate into less deadly strains. Influenzas Spanish Flu 1918 -- Hong Kong 1957, etc. Even catastrophic pandemics like pneumonic plague mutate themselves into oblivion.

The big question is "when"?

136 people died in Spain last night from this “Flu”. I’m seeing a lot of people seek out those with the least education and trust in what they say as opposed to listening to those educated in the field. Careful out there.
