As others have said an enclosed trailer is the way to go. A 6x12 (marginal) or 7x12 (better) with tandem axles and electric brakes with a rear ramp and side door. Keep in mind that the spyder is 62in wide so the width of the rear door is important and it is 5 ft high. An enclosed trailer gives you protection from the elements and security while towing and at your campsite. These bikes are expensive so take care of it. They weigh more than 1000 lbs so keep that in mind also. Lots of spyder info in these forums:
x2 on the enclosed trailer, although I feel the tandem axle is a bit of overkill. I used to have a 6x12 single axle with electric brakes and its payload was close to 1900 pounds. It towed like a dream behind my motorhome. I can't remember what the door opening was so the 62" wide trike might be a tight fit. If it won't fit than the 7x12 would be necessary and I'm not sure if those are available in a tandem.- HawkTXExplorerThanks to everyone for the input. Appreciate you all.

Any utility trailer should work....get one with a built in ramp (like landscapers use). When on the trailer, make sure the Spyder is in 1st gear, use ratcheting tie-downs. You MAY have to drill holes in the trailer for the tie-down hooks. Angle the tie-down straps to eliminate or minimize front to back movement.
g'luck!
Not any utility trailer, many of those trailers like landscaping companies use have cheap axels that burn out the bearings during long highway use, I would look for a quality trailer with upgraded axels and electric brakes..
Been down the road with low cost trailers and always end up costing more in the long run. - The_real_wild1ExplorerEnclosed trailer is the best set up. You can store other stuff in it as well like camping chairs etc etc. If you just want a flat deck look at pj trailers. They have a nice ramp and are well built.
- trail-explorerExplorerEnclosed trailer with a ramp door would be the hot setup
- Chuck_thehammerExplorergo to ANY Cam-am forum.. lot's of owners pull them in many types of trailers.
locally a Lady has one in an enclosed trailer behind her dp coach.

g'luck! - IAMICHABODExplorer IILast year while while at a beach campground my neighbor pulled in towing a CAN-AM on This Trailer the deck had 2 angled stops about 16 inches tall that the tires rested against. Said that they didn't know it was back there, pulled great.
They went on daily rides up and down the coast.
