anyone towing a mini Cooper?

We would like to use our 2009 mini clubman as a toad. Has anyone had any experience with that? We'd sure like to hear about your experiences.

Guy we bought our mh from towed one. Not sure which but he said it towed fine and he had no issues. He did say the dealer told him not to!

I tow a 2010 Mini Cooper Clubman S four down and love it. It's been with me from San Antonio to San Francisco to Washington DC and lots of places in between with no issues. See my setup in my signature. Your Mini is a manual transmission I'm assuming.

I towed both a 2004 Mini and a 2006 Cooper S (Standard trans, 4 down) to Mexico and back from Vancouver BC, approx 10,000km ( 6000 miles) . The major issue for the rough Mexican roads was to have the tow bar aligned and I had to have a special bracket made to do this . PM if you need more detail.Great toad but looks strange behind a 37 foot motorhome.
