Are vibration Isolators needed on 5th Wheel Hitch ?

I'm trying to decide on what hitch to get.

Does anyone have any experience with this hitch - Reese R20 5th Wheel Hitch p/n 30867 - R20?
I'm drawn to this hitch because it has vibration isolator system that I thought would help in the ride. Am I right, or not?

I have a 36 CKTS on order with TrailAir and have a 2012 Ram 3500 Long bed,DRW, CC, Diesel.

Thanks for your input !

  • The TrailAir should take care of any hitch related issues. You shouldn't need additional vibration dampening on the hitch in the truck.
  • I have the TrailAire air ride extended kingpin and it is a great product. I would get a B&W hitch it does have large rubber isolation pads the head rides on. When you remove the B&W your bed has no rails left in it.

    Top quality US Made hitch.
