- LIKE2BUILDExplorerThank you for the suggestions. After searching high and low, only to find the same set prices everywhere, my friend decided to just buy a new one and have a brand new hitch.
We found a few used ones available on CL, Ebay, etc, but they were far enough away that by the time he spent fuel and time or paid shipping costs, the reduced price of a used one didn't add up.
He had a gift card for an online retailer so that helped to ease the wallet squeeze just a bit. Oh well, at minimum it's a brand new hitch and we won't have to deal with any goofy stuff a previous owner might have done.
KJ - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIYou may want to call tweets.com and ask if they have any returned hitches at a discounted price. Yes B&W sets pricing!

As for the new 3500s, I think B&W controls the pricing of the dealer networks. I would think a good used one could be purchased from one of the on line sources for 4-5 hundred.

I think you’re right. Every single retailer is priced the same. - MFLNomad IIAs for the new 3500s, I think B&W controls the pricing of the dealer networks. I would think a good used one could be purchased from one of the on line sources for 4-5 hundred.
Jerry - bigorangeExplorerAmazon and etrailer were the best deals I could find when I was shopping them last fall.
