Bathroom Sink Faucet

Does anyone know if they sell replacement faucets with a longer neck?

Out Dutchman Aerolite has a faucet that barely reaches the back of the sink and causes a mess every time you wash your hands.

Fixtures in our bath at home are 3 separate components so you can mount them on any center you want.

There's no law that says someone can't stick a kitchen faucet in a bath.

So you are saying their is no such thing as a 8 inch lav faucet they are all 4 inch only kit faucets are 8 inch

Yes there are 8" bath faucets, but in reality after you pass 4" the valves are on short hoses and can be place as desired.
We replaced our cheap 4" with a single handle bath faucet with a taller spout.
The faucet only used the center hole, but had a trim plate to cover the other holes.
Ones DIY skills are the only limit on what you can do in the kitchen or bath.
In our kitchen we have a very nice double bowl SS sink with one large deep side and a smaller side, with a single handle tall faucet. I can fill a 5 gallon bucket in it.

If you have a dual valve (like the one a few posts above) measure the spacing center to center. if the faucet in teh hardware has the same spacing it fits (See footnote)

If you have a single (The footnote really applies here) it fits PERIOD.

Now... one issue I had with a SINGLE handle faucet (Kitchen) was the hot and cold lines on the faucet were different length and slightly different in how they connected to the pipe. I had to buy one short flex hose to make it fit.

During my countertop replacement project, I replaced ours with a new stainless fixture:



The only gotcha I ran into was the drain is a non-lift-stopper style. The faucet has a pull rod for the stopper, so I cut it about a 1/4" beyond where it emerged from the bottom of the faucet, then threaded the end and bolted it in place. The pull rod is non-functional, but serves as a decorative function.

Have fun picking what you'd like to have in your unit! There's lots of options.

I switched ours out to a standard high neck bar sink. Problem solved.

Before you buy something, take out what you have and know what size equipment can fit in the space. I discovered that the under counter plate that everything screws down onto was a smaller size than a lot of "hardware store" replacements. Another trick I learned along the way was to put my digital camera under the sink and take a set of pictures at different angles so you can really see what you have before you tackle the job. I would imagine that the faucet and fittings are installed originally before the sink is put in place. That can make things a lot more interesting.

I wasn't sure if the faucet was RV specific (Not household).

If that's the case, I can consider this one an easy fix!

No such thing as RV specific plumbing. It's all available at Home Depo etc...
