Agree you title is best that does not include Ford - sdianel_-acct_cExplorerhttp://www.motorhome.com/download-dinghy-guides/
- BobboExplorer III will always tow a Subaru.
You can't tow an automatic, it must be a manual transmission
You need to:
1. put it in neutral
2. release parking brake
3. turn key 1 notch to unlock steering
4. go - lanerdExplorer II"Best" Ford would probably be the Flex.
- Queens_CarriageExplorerI think you can tow the EDGE.
- Pop-Pop_CExplorerHonda. CRV and FIT.

Yes, an Edge would be a good dinghy too.Posted By: rmize1948 on 07/24/13 12:05pm
We have a diesel pusher and currently tow an '09 Chevy Trailblazer. I want to move to a Ford product so can anyone make a recommendation for a replacement for the Trailblazer?
To all the CRV and Jeep lovers... the OP is asking about "FORDS"!!! - dleslie125ExplorerI came within about 2 minutes of buying a 2013 Edge to replace our 2011 Escape since we just don't want that suspense on the transmission any longer.
Then woke up and said "I'm only going to tow if it has a transfer case." Switched and have ordered a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited with Active Drive II - transfer case with Neutral and a 9 speed automatic transmission.
Weighs just over 4000 lbs, loaded with high tech stuff, has a tow package as well and will tow 4500 lbs with Class III receiver. They have just started production and we hope to get ours in September.
