Black tank odor...another reason

We kept wondering why our Jayco Escapade emitted some black tank odor in the rv and we've done everything right.

Hubby was up on roof putting in a new solar fan on the one tank vent (the black and grey must meet somewhere within is hubby's guess. It turns out the pipe was totally blocked by mud dauber nesting. So hopefully we will be a little more sweet smelling down the road.

We will install a screen to keep them out...

On my last coach, the workers at the manufacturer stuffed my vent pipe with construction paper. It took us a few months to figure it out.

Maybe they're not really mud Saunders. They could be Saunders of another material?
That's why the smell doesn't bother them. :B

No noses but they can "smell" I guess this smell isn't one that bothers them. Maybe they like it? :W
