Bought best scooter to take on RV

it is, and heavy for a 150cc, 295#, not a street rocket, but fast enough for traffic
70 mpg, 3 gal gas tank
rear cushion raises up to form a back rest for single rider
and provide cargo space for tying stuff down
put a collapsible crate on the back for shopping runs, mine is a 2009
racked up a lot miles in 2012 on our 5 month trip back east

dealers still sell new ones $1400-$1500

come in many colors green, yellow, white, blue , orange etc..

i wanted orange, but ended up with black,

That Rowdy is a badass looking machine. I bet it's fun to ride, too!

DW with her asthma and for just scooting around the campground we bought a Razor Scooter. and really like it. Large tires, a known manufacturer with local support should something happen. Fits nicely on a motor cycle carrier I adapted behind our RV and is light enough to manage.
Not going 15 miles on a highway, but maybe to the camp store for a loaf of bread or such. Really like it for what we use it for.
But always looking for the perfect ride!

I second the electric bike idea. We have had two Rad Power bikes for a year and a half.

You may wish to consider an electric bike. Wife & I have them, work great! No license problems, 20-30mi range...

Glad all of the riders in the commercial are wearing helmets
Better to have a bicycle if one is physically able to ride one.

A used Honda trail 90cc or 110cc is still very desirable bike to have among a lot of RV'ERS. The draw back is the price for a clean used unit is considerably more then what they sold for new.

My first new motorcycle was a Yamaha DT2 250cc Enduro that I rode to school with a restricted license you could get at 14 years old.

A electric scooter would only be usable in limited campgrounds unless it is able to be licensed. I purchased a Yamaha Zuma scooter 125cc that can run 55 mph. You can run to restaurants or the grocery story, (storage under the seat) as well as around the campgrounds. The draw back is the weight and the fact you need a motorcycle license. They do make a 49cc Zuma that you do not need a motorcycle license. Both are very quiet.
