Bracket mounting propane disconnect to trailer came off

My trailer has a propane hose with a quick disconnect mounted underneath the trailer towards the rear of the trailer, and the bracket that holds the hose end in place has recently come off so that the hose is just dangling. I'll have to pull the trailer home in just over a week so I don't want this dragging on the road ... I'm just wondering how I reattach it. It appears to have been held on by two plastic pieces - not sure what to call them, they kind of look like nails or drywall anchors - and I'm wondering if this is something where I can just go out and buy a couple more of those and bang them in, or if I have to now come up with a different method of attaching the bracket. I assume it would have been screwed or bolted on if it was possible to do so. Suggestions? Thanks.

Mine came loose too last winter while in Fl. I went to a local hardware store and picked up some oversize screws ( little bigger than original ) and a small tube of adhesive caulk. Used a liberal amount of adhesive caulk and let it dry for 24 hours before we moved. Thought it might be a temp fix but it lasted the rest of the trip and our trips so far this year. I plan on leaving it alone unless it shakes loose again.

They probably used a push-in fastener to save labor. I think I would replace with a screw.

I thought I had a picture to post but I've looked through the pictures on my phone and can't find any (must've just been using the phone as a flashlight).

coduit clamp screwed into the fram with selfthreading screws is what i would use.as a note get a piece of rubber and put between the line and clamp.you can even use the rubber coated pipe clamp

I imagine different manufacturers probably use different methods.

Someone with the same RV may be able to help but we have no idea what you own. Please create a signature or put the info in your profile.

If you can do it, a picture would really help.
