Cabinet Latch Alternatives (Rare Earth Magnets?)

Question

I am not really happy with the spring roller cabinet latches that came on some of my cabinet doors. It looks like the have been moved once already and they still don't line up. I was curious to see if anyone knows of a rare Earth magnet solution that would allow the doors to stay firmly shut, but eliminate the whole roller/peg headache.

Lee Valley has many different kinds of cabinet latches and catches, and a good selection of rare-earth magnets and associated hardware.

I purchased a bunch of rare earth magnets to make a rack for my Kitchen Knife set. They work great, and are VERY strong, but make sure you buy the ones with screw holes already in them. The material CANNOT be drilled.
