I am having difficulty finding forums etc. to post an offer to find someone to stay on our property. The only one I have found that is close is Workamper. It seems to be primarily for organized parks, etc. If you happen to know another website or blog, please share.
We have a large piece of property (100 plus acres) in the High Desert with no one around. In exchange for your presence on the property, we are offering a place to stay with water, sewer and electricity.
Since it is near Christmas I would like to share our wish list.
1. A fairly new rig that looks nice on the property.
2. Someone with trade experience or a super handy-person to work around the property. Of course, we would pay for this service.
Heck depending on the situation, if someone travels with another couple, we could probably accommodate that. Arenโt two handy people better than one?
You can pretty much come and go as you want. We just want the presence of a rig on the property to keep unwanted people from helping themselves to our stuff.
We are going to be developing an off-road event center with a container type of compound to host events and are planning on starting work on the project in the next couple of months.
Be clear that you are not in a RV Park. If you like solitude, this may be the place for you. If you like to play in the desert with various toys, this is the place for you.
To get an idea of the area, you may get a kick out of what the plans were for California City if you google it or look for YouTube videos.
