"He wasn't barking very loud"
That's what our neighbors told the campground host that I summoned when we were staying at a premium RV park.
I can appreciate how grandma, grandpa and solo dad were barely keeping up with the infant and toddler they'd brought along. But bringing the dog too and making it everyone else's problem was not appropriate. Luckily the dog (and us) were happier with it spending most of the weekend inside the trailer with it's people, rather than being tied up outside.
And I'm pretty good about offering up dog bags. We have a family member who works for one of the makers, so we buy in bulk. I even pick up after our dogs while hiking as their contribution to Nature isn't normal and can create issues for the other residents.
