Can I use a 50 amp connection for my 30 amp RV?

Probably a dumb question. I locked up a reservation at SILVER STRAND SB, CA. Let me just say reservations for 5 nights in early July on the beach is tough, so I was in a hurry. Anyway, Reserve Amer...

When there is a 50 Amp outlet, I always use it with a dog-bone adapter for my 30 Amp trailer because the 30 Amp outlet is usually very corroded.
