If I have to be a Good Sam member now I'll just block up their RV lane for the 15 to 20 minutes it takes to fill my tank.
This is the reason I use the truck pumps. But you know what? They really don't care if you block the pumps
Anyway, If you get a RV Plus charge card, you can get the cash price at any pump. - Water-BugExplorer

Can RVers still get the cash price for diesel at Flying J/Pilot? Is the only way to get the cash price at the truck pumps is to be a Good Sam member now?

If you're filling your tanks, the RV pump is working at the rate they are designed to perform. The longer you're running that pump, the happier they are. Blocking a truck lane to put 30 or 40 gallons of diesel in you RV is another story. You're taking the space of a trucker that buys several hundred gallons of fuel at a time. - jmckelvyExplorerI usually use the auto lanes. I swipe my MC then swipe my RV Rewards card. I get diesel for 3 cents (I think) off the cash price. The RV Rewards card is NOT a charge card and is free.
- noplace2ExplorerOR, you could just pay cash! Just sayin'.

I got one for my Pickup etc. The .05 a gallon adds up with all our gas operated equipment, the LP savings helps too - ktmrfsExplorer IIfor years I've got the cash price at pilot/flying J using my pen fed visa gas card. It has never charged me the credit card price. Get the cash price and a 5% rebate every month as well. even better than paying cash.
- Executive45Explorer IIIUsing my Good Sam/RV Plus card, I get cash price LESS 8 cents/gal, at the pump start and use the truck lanes with their decent sized fuel delivery hoses.
Don't care if you block the RV lanes. You'll only be Pi##ing Off your fellow RVrs....Dennis - C-BearsExplorerI'm not sure, but to get a full 8 cents off a gallon with the Good Sam/Pilot RV card I think you have to be a Good Sam Life Member. I only get 6 cents off with the Pilot card.
With a 39' fiver I always use the truck lanes. It takes me about 2 minutes, I pull forward, run in and get my receipt, and I am out of the way. If I want to check things over or get something to eat I go park my rig then go back inside.
I used the RV lanes once and got behind a MH that decided it was a good idea for him and his family to go inside while still at the pump and spend 20 minutes looking around. Never again. - belfertExplorer

My tank is 150 gallons. I usually put in around 120 gallons when I fuel up so I'm not really taking away from sales to a truck. My RV is a converted coach bus so it was designed to fuel at the truck pumps. - belfertExplorer

Everything I can find about the RV Rewards cards is that you have to be a Good Sam member now to get one. I would like to find a way to get the cash price at the truck pumps without being a Good Sam member.
I want to use a credit card because I get 5% back plus I am NOT carrying $2000 in cash for fuel.
