Cargo Carrier

Question

Silly question. Iam installing a cargo carrier on the back of my travel trailer, there is a tire carrier there also. Does the carrier needs be in the middle of trailer? I know what is going to be on it no real weight. Need for spacing. Maybe answered own question.

Winnebago says add nothing to my TT's bumper. No real weight is weight. Why not keep the spare as the factory specified?

the OP does not mention TT brandalthough most have very light weight bumpersi suggest a hitch receiver get welded to the frameand the cargo rack mounts to that, NOT the bumpermaybe arrange to raise the tire a little so it clears the rackor rides on the rack with the other cargo ?
