checklist for new TT delivery

We are looking for a checklist to use when going over a new TT before accepting it at the dealer. Trying not to miss anything.

I know I have seen one on this site before but can't seem to find it.

Thanks in advance
  • first make sure your tow car can handle the load and them some.DON,T beleave what a sales person tells you check it out yourself.
  • Make sure they have provisions to hook up city water and shore power so you can test everything....
  • If your new trailer is as bad as ours is, all the check lists in the world won't help you.
It is the hidden stuff in the poor workmanship that only shows up after you have been in it for a week or so.
Like door moldings that will fall off, shelf brackets that are non existant, doors that don't close properly because the walls on each side are out of alignment, a leaky pipe that has a crack in it that is hidden in the insulation, a shower stall that leaks because it wasn't caulked properly, etc.

You could spend a day at the PDI and think that all is good, and then find all the hidden stuff later on.

I am on my third trailer and thought I knew what to look for and all that stuff was fine.
Thankfully all the appliances are working fine as of right now
