6.0L 3.73 gears. Truck numbers are 9900# towning and 2700# payload. Question is on a trailer I am looking the specs are dry (yellow sticker on door) 7920# with a gvwr 11000# and hitch is said to be 880#'s.
Can you tell us the actual camper you are looking at? Reason I ask is all campers load different. There is more to this then raw dry weights if you are looking at a stable long term setup.
I "might" be able to see an issue in your setup if it came out like mine did. I had a 6.0 GM with the 4.10 rear axle just in the 2500 Suburban and I knew I had to upgrade the truck just did not realize the camper empty would put me in such a pickle as it did. And my camper is only a 10,000# GVWR with a 7250# dry weight and a 953# dry tonuge. You have a few advantages and a few disadtavnages then I did. Just trying to give you some things to think through if they apply but need more to go on.
Oh and what is the bed/cab config on the 2500HD? And what year?
Thanks
John
2009 CC 2wd. Sunnybrook Sunset Creek 300RK. all the numbers I gave came off the trailer not the website.
Another Sunnybrook is the 312bhss. It weighs 8000# dry , GVWR 11000#.
