City water reducer
Which is the correct way to hook up the city water reducer valve? From the RV, through the hose and then to the water source? Or from the water source back the other way to the RV?

Put the regulator on the CG hose bib.....then everything (your stuff---hose, filter, rv etc.) is protected from high water pressure incidents.
Get a good quality adjustable water pressure regulator vs a $10 throw away.
Watts makes great ones.
The only thing that will minimize rv plumbing leaks is not having the water turned on.
