Cleaning AC filter
When we wash our AC filter and it dries there appears to be lint still stuck in it. Does anyone know what we are doing wrong and/or how to get rid of it?

I bought a bag of the foam filter material at ACE.
My return filter is roughly 5" X 12"
I cut out several filters then swap out a clean dry one for dirty one.
Dirty one a place in kitchen sink with soapy hot water....then using kitchen faucet sprayer I blast it clean.
Ring out and hang in shower to dry.
Repeat at least monthly. When a filter stretches I toss it.
