Cleaning the RV

Won't beer make the surface being washed sticky?

I have dug ditches in concrete with a pressure washer. They force of water is rather great.. Over time Ive seen water, just plain falling water (no pump behind it) eat rocks and such.

However pressure washers are "Hand to hand" combat tools at a distance of a 1 or two inches they can blast decals off, peal off bumper stickers, and remove paint.

At 2 feet they barley hit the wall of the RV.

Find the proper distance and they do a good job with very little water.

Be careful around windows and slide seals as they can blast past seals very easy

Or use a brush and bucket like I do.

A Van Wash brush, has an extention handle (Short it's a car wash brush, Long it's the same size as a window washer's brush) and works very well.

Thanks for the recommendations. You pretty much confirmed what I assumed but I just wanted to ask.

I also have a long handle soft scrub brush and wash mitts. I use this system on both my TT and TV. I use the garden hose to wash and rinse. A pressure washer may cause water to be forced into places you don't want it in. Also I don't think a pressure washer will get off the grime without damage to your RV.

I agree. I use a nice wash brush, dipped in warm soapy water, for the high areas, and a good wash mit on the lower.

I am slow, so I'm afraid to use the several beer method, as it may get dark before I got her done.

Nice bucket of warm soapy water soft deck brush soft wash cloth nice day Oh yeah beer as well. Great way to spend an afternoon or two. I like to wax mine afterwords :-)

presuure washers are ok in limited aresa of the RV. If you use one, stay away from the seams. You don't want to create a problem for down the road. Also I wouldn't use a PW on the roof. A good nylon bristle brush is best on rubber roofs and at all caulk/putty seams/joints. Happy Washing!
