Coleman vs Quest Canopy

After our third camping trip with out new Ultralite 197, we are ready to buy a canopy. We want a dome style either 10x10 0r 12x12 and either a Coleman or Quest. Those brands seem to be the most popular as we walk through the campground. I have commercial grade EZ-Up's that are way to heavy and too long for my pick up bed which is 5.5'. If you have experience with either brand would like your input. We are base campers, meaning we mostly go to state and national parks, so mostly interested in keeping the rain off the eating/cooking area.

Thanks,John
  • We bought a Coleman 10x10. Good quality, easy set up. We are happy with it.

We usually setup a canopy around the table area of the camp site. sometimes over the table itself.. Pretty handy to have but by no means protects anything from rain... More for bugs we have found...
Been carrying this one around for several years now - packs up in a duffle bag...

When this one away I will probably replace it with one of these dome type tents... Just something to sit under and get out of the sun maybe...

This looks pretty inviting to me... Probably packs up nice
