I was going to mount a Command Hook on my paneling wall but the instructions say "Do Not intall on wallpaper". I did a search to find discussions but only a few said they have used them on the actual panels.So my question is has anyone had COMMAND Hangers installed on their paneling for some time without issue?I call it paneling but it is the interior wall material found in most campers that appear to be covered with some sort of wallpaper material. I'm not talking about the broad decorative trim either.

Hi there were several on my wall papered walls when I bought my TT 12 years ago and I've never had any issues. They work for me.

No problems here. I also use the command strips to hang most everything on the walls, from my weather center to various pictures, etc. Haven't had any problems such as you mention.

I have used them for the past six years. I also put up extra ones when the grandkids visit for their towels & jackets. I have taken them down after the visit without any marks being left on the wall. I do clean the walls as per the instructions before putting up the hooks.

The Command hooks are going to work only as good as the surface it's attached to. If the wall paper is installed shoddy, not a good glue, the Command hook will adhere to the wall paper, but the wall paper will give way from the wall. You never know until you try.... case in point:My Keystone Camper had Command hooks ALL OVER the place for 8 years and not a single one of them failed, nor the wall paper.Now, in my stick-built house? I remodeled the bathroom. Took the room clear down to studs, new insulation, vapor barrier, dry wall, mud, primer paint and paint. Wanted to hang a simple plastic (not heavy at all) clock on the wall. Used a Command hook. It held just fine for about 6 months and then all of a sudden the clock fell. The Command hook was still attached to the paint, but the PAINT separated from the wall. I ended up just using a nail after that!So, you just never know. Try and see what happens!

We have used them in two campers have never seen a reason to take them down.

Soap Dish

Highly recommend the Command soap dish, I installed an earlier version and it's very handy. The bars don't get soggy and the dish doesn't get gooped up.

I've used them and they worked well until it was time to remove them... big swatches of wallpaper were removed. I find it easier to patch a little nail hole than try to fix the missing wallpaper!

I had the hooks placed all over my last trailer for hats, keys, jackets, ect...with no problem. But then I put a few of these: Command Large Caddy in the trailer and they lifted/seperated the wallpaper from the wall. I carefully removed them and the paper stuck itself back to the wall with no sign it had ever seperated. I think these were just too heavy. But I do have several tin signs and a clock hanging with the command picture hanging stuff (like plastic velcro) and have never had a problem with those.

I have lots of them in my TC. They work very well......keys, clock, jackets, umbrellas. I even use them in the shower for our bath scrubbies

No worries--- added hanging it out to my arrival checklist and taking it down to my departure list.

This was probably due to dampness in the bathroom. Maybe someone doesn't use the vent fan when they shower?

We also have them all over the tt. I am afraid to use nails in the paper-thin walls.

Dental floss slipped behind strip will stop that IF pulling straight down and stretching it doesn't work.

They hold okay but...when you go to remove them they want to take the outer layer of the wallboard with them. I'd rather just use a small nail and fill the hole if I need to remove it.
